We have some people coming over to look at our puppies in fifteen minutes, so I don't really have time to write a post, but I wanted to put up a couple songs.
This one keeps popping up on my Pandora, and it's slowly growing on me. Probably because I've never actually heard an accordian sound so catchy before...it's sort of interesting and pretty.
These next two are both from the Breaking Dawn soundtrack. This first one has a very eerie, haunting melody. I still haven't made up my mind as to whether I like it or not, but it's been stuck in my head for two days now, so I must like something about it.
This last one is my favorite. The first time I heard the song, I thought it was "alright," but now after hearing it half a dozen times, the romantic in me just loves it. The video, too, is beautifully executed.

I didn't get to see or hear the middle one but I'm sure it was a very nice song. I LOVE that last song/video! Of course who would't after seeing Breaking Dawn? I have a song that I heard for the first time when I went and saw The Band Perry. It's called "It burns for you" if I could figure out how to link it here with my phone I would. I really love the mandalin in it, it's very crisp. It actually reminds me of the good memories of my childhood when my family would get together and jam on the guitars, banjos and madalins.

I agree Jewls, that last song ("A Thousand Years") is so beautiful! And the video is gorgeous too. It's going to take me a long time to get tired of it.
ReplyDeleteI just listened to "It Burns for You," and I LOVE it. Both the lyrics and the mandolin are so pretty. I bet it was awesome to hear in person. I had no idea your family played all of those instruments...that's so cool!
